I am in great need of just a basic chicken salad recipe.?

I love these stupid little canned type that cost a fortune and also my grandmothers that can't cook another thing in the world so, I just need the basic one all you cooking fans know that are yummy.

And no insults intented I don't like fruit in it. I am in great need of just a basic chicken salad recipe.?
Here is on from Paula Dean that my wife loves. We just get the store cooked chicken and it workks great

1 (3-pound) chicken

Salt and pepper

1 onion, quartered

2 celery stalks

1 cup chopped celery

4 hard-boiled eggs, chopped

2 teaspoons seasoning salt (suggested: Jane's mixed up Krazy salt)

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1 teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning

1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

2 to 3 tablespoons chicken stock

Place the chicken along with the salt, pepper, onion, and celery stalks in a large stock pot. Cover with water and bring to a boil. Lower the heat and simmer until the chicken is cooked through. Remove chicken from pot, cool, and remove skin and bones. Reserve the liquid. Dice the chicken and place in a large bowl. Add the chopped celery, eggs, seasoning salt, mayonnaise, lemon-pepper, pepper, and some reserved stock and mix well.

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

2 cups chopped, cooked chicken meat

1/2 cup blanched slivered almonds

1 stalk celery, chopped

Place almonds in a frying pan. Toast over medium-high heat, shaking frequently. Watch carefully, as they burn easily.

In a medium bowl, mix together mayonnaise, lemon juice, and pepper. Toss with chicken, almonds, and celery.

If you want something a bit more spicy, make a sauce with butter and flour and chicken stock/ or milk. When thickened, add a dessertspoon of curry powder, and cook for 5 minutes gently. Slowly fry some onions until they are tender but not brown. Cool all mixtures. When cold combine cooked, sliced chicken, onions and sauce.
Ceasar salad with a twist:

croutons,

bacon cooked and chopped

lettuce washed

cherry tomatoes

cheese grated

carrot grated

olives (optional)

egg (optional)

mix salad cream, cream cheese, viniger, black pepper, garlic, olive oil (optional) and lemon together and pour over the finished salad

It's sooooo yummy!!!
