Hi, has anybody got a recipe for chicken rice soup?

Chicken Rice Soup











3 pound stewing chicken, cut in pieces


2 quarts water


1 tablespoon salt


6 peppercorns


1 cup chopped celery


1/4 cup chopped onion


1/2 cup rice


1/8 teaspoon pepper





Combine chicken, water, salt and peppercorns in a large saucepan. Cover. Simmer 2 1/2 hours, until chicken is tender. Remove chicken and peppercorns Skim off fat. Cut chicken into small cubes. Add chicken and remaining ingredients to broth. Cover; simmer 30 minutes, until rice is tenderHi, has anybody got a recipe for chicken rice soup?
CHICKEN RICE SOUP INGREDIENTS: *1 pound boneless chicken breasts, cut into small cubes *5 cups chicken broth


*8 oz. fresh mushrooms, sliced (2 cup) *3/4 cup sliced celery


*1/2 cup sliced carrots *1/2 cup raw rice *1/4 cup chopped onions *1 cup frozen or canned mixed vegetables *1/2 tsp. ground sage *1/4 tsp. pepper


PREPARATION:


-In slow cooker, combine chicken, broth, vegetables and seasonings.


-Cover and cook on LOW 6 to 8 hours, or cook on high for 3 to 4 hours. Makes 2 quarts of chicken rice soup.

Original recipe yield: 6 servings








INGREDIENTS





1/2 cup chopped celery


1 pound boneless chicken breast halves, cooked and diced


3 (14.5 ounce) cans chicken broth


1/2 cup water


2 cups frozen mixed vegetables


3/4 cup converted long-grain white rice


1 tablespoon dried parsley


2 teaspoons lemon and herb seasoning





DIRECTIONS





Combine celery, chicken pieces, chicken broth, water, mixed vegetables, rice, parsley and herb seasoning in a slow cooker. Cover, and cook on low 6 to 8 hours. If soup is too thick, add more water to dilute and allow 15 minutes of additional cooking time.
Take 1 Chicken


Feed with rice


Put on a sunbed


Then blend


Add Salt to taste


Add stock to dilute if too thick





Serve in a pint glass with a slice of mighty white
